Nutritional yeast is a superfood fermented from the species Saccharomyces cerevisiae and grown on the surface of molasses. It’s an inactive yeast and loaded with lots of nutrition.
How to use nutritional yeast in your diet?
Nutritional yeast has a cheesy taste, so it’s very versatile. You can add it to:

What Are Some Of The Health Benefits Of Nutritional Yeast?
It’s loaded with amino acids – therefore easier to digest.
It contains trace minerals – essential for a healthy thyroid function, testosterone levels, blood sugar balance, and helps lower insulin levels.
It contains fiber.
It contains glutathione, a major antioxidant.
It has all B vitamins (except B12), which helps with increased energy; decreases stress; and promotes healthy skin, hair and nails. Beware as some companies will add enriched B12 to nutritional yeast.
It has beta glucans, which have immune enhancing properties.
