My Carnivore Blood Test Experiment
Creating a healthy lifestyle that will allow me to be the best version of me has been my goal for years. If I can be the best version of me it will allow me to serve my family, practice members and community with my highest human potential.
A healthy lifestyle includes work – life balance, quality sleep, adequate exercise, nutrient dense foods that include animal products and mostly vegetables. So what happened when I choose to omit plants and only consume animal products as part of my diet.
Check out previous article on why I did this and the results. In the post I wanted to share what happened to my blood test results. If elevated cholesterol levels frighten you, this may help explain that, when reviewing labs with your health care provider. It is important to look at additional lab markers other than cholesterol, current lifestyle, ancestry, and family history.
In retrospect, it would have been better to wait 6 months to run the labs however as mentioned in my previous post, my intention with the carnivore elimination diet or eating plan was only for 1 week but extended longer than that. Another set of labs will be run soon to compare the test results.
