When you think of apple cider vinegar, you probably think of an ingredient commonly used in recipes. And although it can enhance flavor in many of your favorite dishes, apple cider vinegar can also be used in various ways.

Here are eight great ways to use apple cider vinegar:

  1. Relieving bug bites-To help with the itchiness, soak affected area in a tub of water with 2 cups of ACV.

  2. Cuticle infections-Per dermatologist recommendation, soak cuticle/s in ¼ cup of ACV to ¾ cup of water.

  3. Removing soap scum from tub or shower walls-use full strength ACV in place of harsh chemicals.

  4. To fight dandruff-ACV is known as an antifungal. Dandruff, typically caused by excess yeast, can be used in place of shampoo to help remove flakes.

  5. Helps soothe sore muscles-ACV’s restorative minerals can help calms cramps and achiness resulting from nutrient deficiencies, dehydration, or excessive exercise.

  6. Can remove hard water residue-Due to its acidic nature, ACV can help break down minerals that accumulate from hard water.

  7. Weight loss aid-1 Tbsp of ACV to a glass of water can help control weight in addition to a healthy diet, exercise, and adequate water intake.

  8. Control blood sugar spikes-ACV can help reduce blood sugar and as well as the body’s insulin response when taken at bedtime.
